Ordering and Delivery
"How does the shopping cart work?"
Just like a shopping trolley at a supermarket, you can put things in your cart (by clicking on the 'add to cart' button) without having to buy them - it is just a way of holding onto things that you are interested in. You are not committed to a purchase until you take your selected item(s) through to the checkout where you can complete your order.

"Which payment methods do you accept?"
Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Delta (via paypal),
Paypal
Personal cheques are also accepted.

"How long will it take for my canvas to arrive?"
Please allow 2-3 working days for your canvas to be printed, finished and framed & 2-3 days for delivery.
It may be possible to arrange for a faster delivery if you need it by a certain date. Please contact us with your requirements.

"How much does delivery cost?"
UK Mainland FREE

"Do you deliver worldwide?"
Yes we do click here for international delivery costs.

"Can I place an order and arrange for it to be sent to another address?"
Yes - when entering your personal details you will be given an opportunity to say whether you wish to use your own address or supply a different delivery address.

"Do I have to have a Paypal Account to buy a canvas from you?"
No absolutely not. Paypal works in exactly the same way as any on-line shopping cart. You can enter your details in a "one-off" fashion, as you would with any other company. Paypal has the advantage for account holders as you are only 3 clicks away from paying for the item. There is also the added security & protection for buyers which makes Paypal the No.1 choice for buyers worldwide.

"Is the website secure?"
All your payment details are processed by Paypal on a secure server. Paypal uses 128 bit encryption meaning it is impossible to break the code and steal your credit or debit card details. A small padlock icon will appear in the status bar of the browser at the bottom of your screen when you are entering your card details, signifying you are currently on a secure platform. It is also worth noting that we will never actually see / receive any of your card details - they are all proceed externally via Paypal.

"How do I know the print order was completed?"
Shortly after finishing the order you will receive an order confirmation to your submitted email address.

"The size I ideally want isn't listed. Can you offer custom sizes that are not displayed on your site?"
Yes, we can make custom prints of certain sizes. Please contact us with your exact requirements for a quote.

Once I Get My Print, How Do I Hang It?"
We supply very easy to use hanging kits with all of our prints so putting them up on the wall is just as easy as banging in a picture hook. No screws and drills required, just a hammer!

"Do You Offer Discounts for trade customers"
Yes! please contact us to discuss getting the best deal If you are thinking about purchasing 5 or more prints from us.

"How is your Canvas Art made"
At SmartModernArt.com our canvas art is created using a method know as 'Giclée' printing (pronounced ghee-clay). Giclée is an invented name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée", from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray".

"What does gallery wrapping mean?"
Gallery wrapping is the process that the finished print goes through in order to mount and stretch it onto the internal frame.

"How do I care for my canvas?"
To maintain & increase the lifespan of your canvas do not expose to continuous, strong sunlight or moisture. Do not clean with a wet or damp cloth. A light dusting will get rid of any dust that has settled on the canvas.

"Can i provide you with an image to print?"
